INFORMATION REGARDING TEAM NUMBERS AND REGISTRATION OF PLAYERS

With our second and hopefully final registration this Sunday, we’d just like to clarify our process of team nominations and why it’s important to get registered sooner rather than later.
This is one of the most commonly queried issues regarding our team numbers/limits and registration.

It was decided for 2018, that in our junior age groups “we will be limiting” the number of players accepted simply because we don’t want to have teams with either too many, or not enough players. And also do we can try and cater for all players playing within their own age groups not in composite teams.

For example our ideal numbers would be;

18s girls 1 team/16 players
16s girls 1 team/16 players
14s girls 1 team/16 players
Under 15s 2 teams/34 players
Under 14s 3 teams/51 players
Under 13s 4 teams/64 players
Under 12s 3 teams/51 players
Under 11s 2 teams/30 players
Under 10s 2 teams/30 players
Under 9s 3 teams/30 players
Under 8s 4 teams/40 players
Under 7s Unlimited players (4/32 preferred)
Under 6s Unlimited players (8/64 preferred)

These numbers are based on 2017 numbers and current player numbers registered or at training.

Following Sunday’s registration we will again assess our numbers to confirm our expected team numbers.

Also if you registered and have not paid this needs to be done on Sunday 18th Feb to confirm your spot in the age group***

Our teams will be training as age group squads until the second trial, where then all individual teams selections will take place and each team begin to train separately.
